Setup & Takedown Time

The X‑Cover 3.0 deploys in about 3 minutes via its efficient fold-out design. There’s no separate PVC cover to remove, and packing down is equally quick—ideal for trail stops or basecamps.

Mounting Requirements

Requires a vehicle with a roof or bed rack/crossbars rated for at least 125 lbs (57 kg) dynamic load. Comes with universal Mounting Brackets 3.0 for easy, at-home installation.

  • Minimum Crossbar Spread: 30″

  • Maximum Crossbar Spread: 60″

  • Crossbar dimensions must fit universal brackets (≤3.5″ wide, ≤1.5″ tall)

Note: Factory crossbars often lack sufficient rating—aftermarket racks such as Yakima, Thule, Rhino-Rack, and Prinsu are recommended.
