What is the difference between the Exoshell 270 Awning and the Awning 3.0?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Both the Exoshell 270 Awning and Awning 3.0 are premium rooftop tent awnings designed to provide shade, shelter, and expand your camping setup. The key differences are in design, compatibility, and features.

Exoshell Awning

First-of-its-kind, the ExoShell 270 Awning features a hard shell anodized aluminum case for unmatched durability. Forget the legs because this 270 awning is freestanding to reduce clutter around your feet and make setup a breeze. If the wind kicks up, just deploy the legs and hunker down for the night. The ExoShell 270 does not feature universal mounting hardware. Aftermarket support brackets may be required for compatibility with your unique setup.

Awning 3.0

Turn your RTT into a spacious shelter. The Awning 3.0 adds 167 ft² (15.5 m²) of shade and weather protection, zipping directly onto your iKamper roof top tent.
