My tent arrived damaged—what should I do?

Steps to Take If Your Tent Arrives Damaged

1. Inspect the shipment immediately upon delivery

  • Check the box and tent for scratches, dents, or punctures

  • Take photos of any damage, even if it looks minor

2. If damage appears severe, refuse the shipment

  • Let the driver know you’re refusing delivery due to visible damage

  • We’ll work with you to send a replacement

3. Note any damage on the delivery receipt

  • Be specific: “dent on left side of tent box,” “puncture in lower corner,” etc.

  • This is required for us to file a freight claim

4. Contact iKamper support within 48 hours

  • Send us the following:

    • Photos of the damaged product and packaging

    • A photo of the delivery receipt with damage noted

    • A short description of the delivery and issue

Why this matters:

Damage claims must be filed quickly and require proper documentation. Reporting damage within 48 hours gives us the best chance of resolving the issue and getting you back on the road.
